Laser Heating Set up

Samples that couple with 1µm laser excitation can be laser heated in a diamond anvil cell (DAC) from
one side. Sample temperature can be measured from the both sides of the DAC, using
spectroradiometry by fitting Planck’s equation in 450-900 nm range. CW laser power can also be
modulated to produce rectangular shaped pulses of varying pulse-width.
Laser : IPG fiber laser 100 W.
Spectrometer : Acton Spectro Pro 2150i, Focal length: 150 mm.
Grating : 300 l/mm, Blaze: 750 nm.
Detector : PIXIS 100 BR, Peltier cooled.
